My family consist of myself a 30 year old mother of 2 with
one on the way. My children’s father is recently disabled from service in
military. Me and my three kids seven, four and one on the way in 2 months. I
recently discover my child has a possibility of having Down’s syndrome. Our
economic level would have been considered middle class but possible change with
foreseen medical bills. Any suggestion for the type of family systems that
would best service us? Are there any other underlining issues that I might need
to address?
Angelika,
ReplyDeleteI would discuss the test that has to be given in order to know the baby was diagnose with Down's Syndrome( and include a second opinion if possible) this part is include in the health section. Research the military services that are available to veterans especially those that become/are disabled.
Best Wishes
Brittney E.
I would talk the families that have children with Down's Syndrome to get some information on life would me for child. Also so would talk to the local military services programs for veterans to how the can help the family.
