Hillary

One of the
best investments we can make is to give our kids the ingredients they need to
develop in the first five years of life.”
William “Bill”
Clinton
Clinton said
the legislation also seeks to preserve the "richness and the vision and
the hope and the self-esteem" that children gain from the program when
they leave Head Start, so they can "hold it close and live by it and
gain from it throughout their lives."

Hi Angelika,
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to see that Bill and Hillary Clinton have had such great impact on education. Durning the Clinton administration I guess I never really payed much attention to what he had to say. I must say though he was one of the most influential presidents that held office in my opinion and I think it was mostly because people like to hear Hillary. As far as the other two people you showcased I am going to have to do a little more research so maybe I will comment on your discussion for this week.
Hey, Raymond's quote of not saving the world seems to be a popular quote. I do agree with him, one child at time and there indeed will be a difference, and that difference should be positive and be made by those who care deeply about the child's well-being.
ReplyDeleteHey Kiendra, I also selected Raymond Hernandez from week two video presenters, because his words spoke to me. He's not trying to save the world, but he is doing his part to make it a better place for children to grow and learn in. If everyone contributes something, then the bigger picture will be painted.
